Shades of September

Every month Stampin' Up! sends a magazine to all the demonstrators called Stampin' Success. Each month, there is a contest with three or four categories including a "Wow" category for those cards that don't fit into any of the other categories. In the June issue, one of the categories is called, "Shades of September," for cards using fall colors. My hubby and son have encouraged me to finally enter the monthly contest. If I ever win, I'll let you know!!! LOL!

The image is stamped on Water Color Paper with Stazon Black and water colored with Earth Elements color family of Water Color Wonder Crayons using the Aquapainter. The main panel is matted on Basic Black, raised up on Dimensionals, and adhered to the Ruby Red base card. The sentiment was stamped on Very Vanilla with Stazon Black and mounted with Antique Brass Hodgepodge Hardware (HPH). There's a swirl clip from the same HPH attached to the upper left corner, and a knot of Mellow Moss Grosgrain Ribbon is attached. The sentiment from the Morning Soft set is stamped in the inside which is lined with Very Vanilla.

  • Stamps: Morning Soft, Short & Sweet
  • Papers: Water Color Paper, Basic Black, Ruby Red, Very Vanilla
  • Ink: Black Stazon
  • Accessories: Ticket Corner Punch, Antique Brass HPH, Mellow Moss GG Ribbon, WCW Crayons (Earth Elements), Aquapainter

Thanks for visiting my blog, and wish me luck!!!
