Spring Fling Stamp Camp Projects

Project #1 for the "Spring Fling" Stamp Camp on May 22nd is this card which was CASEd from the 2008 Spring-Summer Catalog. The only changes I made were the designer paper and the layered flower. For my flower, both layers are punched and there is a white brad in the center.

Project #2 is a very simple card, but I have had requests to use more Cuttlebug panels. The base card and matting are Pretty In Pink. The GP White panel is embossed with the Swiss Dots embossing folder. The flowers from "Embrace Life" were stamped with Black Stazon and colored with Pretty In Pink Marker. The ribbon is Pretty In Pink Taffeta Ribbon.

Project #3 is also a Featured Stamper Challenge card. On the original card, the embossed panel was done with the "Snowflakes" folder, and, instead of the berries, the letters "J", "O", "Y", were on the squares. Switching to the strawberries made it a perfect spring card!

Project #4 is the Father's Day card, and this one will take a little time. Not only is it a "Big Buckle" card, but it includes the "Faux Wood" technique. We used this technique at the last Stamp Camp but just on a small panel. We will also be sponging and distressing the main image panel.

When the card is open, you can see that it is a Father's Day card with the sentiment from "All Holidays."

Project #5 is the wedding card that I promised. It is very hard to photograph white cards! There are two flourishes that are heat embossed with Clear Embossing Powder. You can see the one at the top but not the one at the bottom in this photo. The hearts were embossed with Kaleidescope Embossing Powder, but I think we will use the Clear EP on those as well. I just don't like the little speckles in the other EP. The embellishments are sheer ribbon and silver rings. The ribbon is tied in a knot instead of a bow, symbolic of marriage.
