Glitter, Glitter Everywhere! (IC128, ssnotime35)

For today's Inspiration Challenge, we had a choice of three candle holders to inspire us: One was yellow, one was green, and the last was lavender. I chose the lavender one.

My card is also my submission to Sharon's (notimetostamp) weekend challenge which was to use a trio of panels. It didn't really matter what the configuration was. We just had to used three panels in some way.

The base card is Lavender Lace, and the three panels are also Lavender Lace matted on Basic Black. I used the new (sneak peek) "Fresh Cut" which will be in the next Idea Book & Catalog. There's a special on this set for June: Buy the set and get Fresh Cut Die Cut Notes for only $5.00. I'll have to make something from one of the note cards; they're really pretty.

I put Dazzling Diamonds on all the petals and got it everywhere! LOL! The most difficult thing about this card was attaching the Basic Black grosgrain ribbon. Here's how I did it: After matting each panel, apply adhesive to the tops of each panel. Place each panel in position with bottoms loose. Apply adhesive to one end of the ribbon; insert the ribbon under the right panel and press to adhere. Run the ribbon straight across the card, and apply adhesive to the other end. Turn the card over and adhere the ribbon to the other end. With the card turned face down, apply adhesive to the bottoms of the panels. Make sure each panel is straight before pressing down to adhere. I cut another small piece of ribbon, ran it through the jump clip on the "Thank You" charm, and tied a knot around the horizontal ribbon, leaving the charm dangling beneath. Thanks for stopping by!!!
