Sunny Daisies (WT184)

Today's Ways To Use It Challenge was to use our silhouette stamps. I just love the new "Upsy Daisy" set! On Summer Sun card stock, I sponged with More Mustard, Pumpkin Pie, and Ruby Red using a 1" punched circle as a mask for the sun. I stamped the main image with Basic Black, but didn't feel it was dark enough, so I went over it with a Basic Black Marker. Next time, I'll heat emboss the image with Black Embossing Powder. I matted the main image on Summer Sun and the Basic Black. I ran a piece of More Mustard card stock through my Sizzix Big Shot with a Sizzix "Diagonal Lines" Texturz Plate. I spritzed the card stock first. I matted the embossed piece on Basic Black and added Vintage Brads before adhering to the Ruby Red base card. The sentiment panel is Summer Sun sponged with Pumpkin Pie, matted on Summer Sun and Basic Black, and stamped with Basic Black. I adhered it with Dimensionals to bring it up to the same level as the main image panel. Thanks for visiting my blog today!!!
