Holly Jolly Christmas (CC184)

The Color Challenge today was to use Riding Hood Red, Basic Gray, and Always Artichoke. The only gray I have on this card is the ribbon. The base card is Always Artichoke with a layer of white that has been run through my Big Shot machine on a Sizzix Texturz plate. It's called, "Polka Daisy", but I think it looks more like snowflakes. Santa is stamped with Riding Hood Red, and the panel is sponged with the same ink and matted on the same color card stock. The trees were stamped with Always Artichoke and cut out. The sentiment was stamped with the red and punched out with the Wide Oval Punch and sponged. I used a Double Rectangle Punch on the sentiment panel to pull the Basic Gray Taffeta Ribbon through and tie the knot. I finished it off by adding silver glitter glue (or stickles) to the dots on the trees. Thanks for visiting!!!

Really cute card! I just love the new Big Shot that Stampin' Up! teamed up with Sizzix for.
