Onesie (FS105)

The Featured Stamper for this week is Karen Dunbrook {K Dunbrook}. I've never seen her gallery before. She has lots of talent. Now, one of my ladies has asked me to help her come up with some ideas for a birth announcement since her baby is due next month. She's going to have a boy.

The photo at left shows the card that inspired my design. Of course, I had to change it from a girl to a boy onesie. I eliminated the bib and bow and used the sail boat from the "Life's a Breeze" set instead. I also made the sleeves straight since I think it would be easier when mass producing these. I also changed from eyelets to brads at the bottom because I thought those would be easier too. I used circle punches to create the trim at the neck and leg holes and I added straight pieces on the sleeves with faux stitching. This is one idea for my friend to look at. Thanks for stopping by today!!!
