The sketch layout is shown at left. Now, I found a piece of River Rock card stock that was embossed with the Textiles embossing folder, so I used that for my horizontal strip which I adhered to the pocket flap. You actually don't even need the flap since it doesn't show. I matted my "inchies" on Soft Sky and added them to the River Rock Strip. You can barely see the embossing, but at least I used up one more scrap piece! I adhered the designer paper to a Soft Sky mat, then I got down to the details. I use the Flower Trio Punch so often, but those little flowers are just perfect for embossing! I stamped the leaf from "Easter Beauty" on Wasabi and cut those out and adhered them to the "inchies". Then, I adhered my embossed flowers and added white centers with a gel pen.
The insert, shown at the right, is just white on Soft Sky and stamped with the flowers from Easter Beauty. I water colored the flowers with ink in the top of my stamp pads. I used the Horizontal Slot Punch at the top of the insert and used Kraft Taffeta Ribbon for the pull string. That's it! Thanks for visiting here today! Maybe I'll be able to post one more card later.
