Ann's Flowers (FS449)
I made this card for the Featured Stamper Challenge on Splitcoast Stampers. The card I CASED can be found here. Ann has a wonderful gallery and when she does Clean and Simple cards, they really are clean and simple (looking)! I love it. The stamps I used are retired. I used Blooming Beautiful and Short & Sweet. I'll never get rid of those, especially Short & Sweet. It has just the right sentiment for every occasion. I used 120# White card sock and Rich Razzleberry card stock. I colored with Copics and popped up the framed panel. I need a bunch of thank you cards, so I might use this design. Thanks for stopping by!

Bee-cause (FS448)
My grand daughter and I got together and made two cards, almost exactly the same. We decided to do the Featured Stamper Challenge. Today's stamper was Maria. She has a cute gallery with lots of whimsical cards. Anna and I chose Maria's "Bee Happy" card which can be found here: Maria's Gallery Anna was excited to make her card and mail it, so I only got to photograph mine. Hers is already gone out in the mail! We cut out the bees by hand, the flowers and leaves were "Secret Garden" Thinlits. I got everything crooked on this one because we were almost in a race to get them done! That's OK, it's homemade! Thanks for stopping by.

Butterfly Thank You (FS333)
I made this card on June 24th but didn't post it to my blog. I'm catching up today. I made this for a Featured Stamper Challenge. The featured stamper was Tina Hale (tinahale38). Here is her card that I CASEd. I only changed the colors (slightly), the stamps and punched the butterfly on the sentiment panel instead of stamping it. I loved the simplicity of her card! The colors I used are Whisper White, Lucky Limeade and Pool Party. The stamp sets used are "Stacks of Wishes" (Hostess) and Summer Solstice for the butterflies. Everything used here is from Stampin' Up! Thanks for stopping by!

Hello (FS319)

CASEing Sophie (FS285)
I haven't done a Featured Stamper Challenge in quite a while. I've been too busy lately to do ANY of the challenges except for the Twisted Sistahs and Paper Cupcakes. I have a foster child now who has special needs. That's been taking up a lot of my time lately. Anyway, the Featured Stamper for this week is SophieLaFontaine! I've been in her gallery before, but I never had a chance to really go through it like I did this morning. I chose to CASE her "Orange Mummy Cat" card. I was inspired by that little mummy kitty and really felt like making a Halloween card. I got a chance to use my new "Googly Ghouls" from Stampin' Up!'s new Holiday Catalog. I stamped the little mummy and cut him out; then I popped him up and added the Googly Eye. The sentiment is from "Grateful Greetings" and is stamped with VersaMark and embossed with Black EP. The card stocks are Crumb Cake, Basic Black, Pumpkin Pie and Whisper White. Everything is from Stampin' Up! Thanks for stopping by!!

CASEing Candace (FS276, WT375)
The Featured Stamper this week is candylou. Candace is incredibly talented, and I'm amazed that I'm so unfamiliar with her work. I really enjoyed browsing through her gallery. I chose to CASE her "See Beyond" card. I changed colors, stamps, papers and the leaf embellishment. I also moved the sentiment to the circle and forgot to sponge the circle. I used Chocolate Chip Textured Card Stock, Pumpkin Pie card stock, Bashful Blue card stock, Naturals Ivory card stock and dp from DCWV. The ribbon is Chocolate Chip grosgrain ribbon and the leaves are from Michael's. This is also for the Ways To Use It challenge which was to use complimentary colors. I used blue and orange. Thanks for stopping by!

CASEing Tracy (FS275)
The Featured Stamper this week is TracyMac. Tracy has an awesome gallery, and she is extremely talented. I chose to CASE her "You Can't Catch Me!" card. I changed the stamps and papers but kept her layout. I used Hemp Twine instead of Baker's Twine, Metallic Ribbon instead of the blue ribbon and Vintage Brads instead of buttons. The dp I used is similar and was Christmas dp from SU! a year or two ago. It reminds me of the wallpaper you might find in a wild west saloon. The image is from the Wild Wild West set that many of us would like SU! to bring back. I colored the image with Copics which I need more practice with. Thanks so much for stopping by!!

CASEing Heather (FS274)
Our Featured Stamper this week is Heather T. I really enjoyed looking through her gallery this morning. What an expert at sponging she is!! I chose her "Simply Spring" card to CASE. I changed the stamps and slightly changed the colors using the pink mat instead of grey. My main image panel is a little smaller, too. Using the reverse masking technique, I sponged with Blushing Bride and Always Artichoke. I colored the flower stamp with Always Artichoke and Pretty In Pink Markers. After stamping, I colored in the flowers with the Pretty In Pink and added a little Perfect Plum and White Gel Pen to the centers. I used the retired "Embrace Life" stamp set. Everything is from Stampin' Up! Thanks for stopping by!!

CASEing Karen (FS272)
This week's Featured Stamper is kthaman. Karen has such a great gallery that you can spend hours there. I think she sent me a card several years ago when I first started on SCS which was an example of a particular technique. It was a beautiful card. Anyway, when you do the Featured Stamper Challenge, you are supposed to change two things. I picked a couple of cards to CASE that I didn't want to change anything! I finally chose this card because I still have the "Doodle This" set and I could change a couple of things without really changing the card. I changed the colors, DSP and sentiment. I used Crumb Cake for the base card and Newsprint DSP for the Spiral Punched panel. I used Calypso Coral for the flower and the ribbon. My sentiment is from "Outlined Occasions" (2012 SAB), and I colored the bottom portion with a colored pencil. Everything used to make this card is from Stampin' Up! Thanks for stopping by!!!

CASEing Ali (FS270)

Our Featured Stamper this week is Albongo. Ali has a wonderful gallery. I chose to CASE her Poppy Fields card. The only changes I made were: different stamp, bow instead of knot on ribbon, different embossing folder for the vertical panel, made it into an easel card, rounded some of the corners, and I moved the sentiment panel. Thanks for stopping by!!

CASEing Kathy (Cuz) (FS262)

This week's Featured Stamper is 101Airborne. Kathy is a good friend; in fact, we call each other "Cuz". I couldn't wait to CASE her "DDMCC05" card. I only changed the colors slightly, I changed the stamped image and I used different DSP. I kept the layout and the theme. I used Soft Suede, Not Quite Navy and Naturals Ivory card stocks along with "Well Worn" DSP. The stamp is from "Uncharted Territory". I sponged with Cajun Craze and Not Quite Navy inks. Everything used here is from Stampin' Up! Thanks for stopping by!!

Sunbeams to Raindrops (FS260)

The Featured Stamper two weeks ago was none other than our lovely driver, wannabcre8ive. Shirt is our fearless leader on the Twisted Sistahs bus. Although this is way late, I just had to CASE one of her cards to honor my sistah and dear friend. I chose to CASE her "Catch a Sunbeam" card. I changed the image so I could use this "Singing in the Rain" stamp that she gave me. I also changed the colors a little, the designer paper, and I changed the layout just a bit. I thought I had the deckled edge Nesties, but I don't, so I used some old Fiskars scissors to cut the Night of Navy piece. Instead of a ribbon flower, I just punched an umbrella to use for an embellishment. Thanks for stopping by!!

CASEing Kim (FS259)

This week's Featured Stamper is Luv Flowers. Kim and I have exchanged comments on each others cards for some time, and I've always admired her talent. I chose to CASE her SUO Peach Set card. I changed the colors, DSP, stamp set for the main image, sentiment, and I added three tiny flowers on the main image panel. I used "Simply Soft" (hostess) set for the main image. It's a two-step stamping set, and I don't do well with those unless they're wood mounted, but I tried. I stamped my image too low on the panel, so I added those three punched/embossed flowers. I used "Sincere Salutations" for the sentiment which Kim used also, but I used a different stamp. The colors are Melon Mambo and Whisper White. The DSP is from the "Welcome Neighbor Designer Series Paper Pad". (retired) Everything here is from Stampin' Up! Thanks for stopping by!!!

Happiness (FS258)

Our Featured Stamper this week is Holstein. I feel like I know Linda because she always participates in the Teapot Tuesday Challenge, and we comment on each other's cards. I chose to CASE her "Bling" card. I used different ribbon (Hers was gorgeous, by the way!), I eliminated a layer or two, I used different stamps, and I punched the hearts because I don't have a stamp like hers. Also, I didn't put hearts on the sentiment panel, but I did put some on the inside. Thanks for stopping by!!

CASEing Pam (FS257)

It seems like all I've been doing lately is CASEing! This week's Featured Stamper is pamshobby. Pam has a wonderfully inspiring gallery with lots of Stampin' Up! products being used. I chose to CASE her "Thinking of You" card. I changed it from Perfect Plum to Bashful Blue, changed the shape of the sentiment panel and added punched/embossed flowers with pearl centers. Thanks for stopping by!!

CASEing Iwona (FS255)

I've done some CASEing this weekend! This week's Featured Stamper is Chupa. Her real name is Iwona Palamountain. Her real name AND her screen name are both interesting to me. This lady has more talent in her little finger than I have in my whole body!! I can't figure out why she hasn't been the featured stamper before now. Anyway, I spent a lot of time in her gallery and finally chose to CASE her "Monochromatic Thanks" card. I used products from the new Occasions Mini which will be available on January 4, 2012. The DSP is Twitterpated, and my color combo came from that. The card stocks are Blushing Bride, Riding Hood Red, Naturals White and Whisper White. I used Black Stazon for the main image and colored with Lucky Limeade, Baja Breeze, Island Indigo, Blushing Bride and Ridinghood Red Markers. I used Crocheted Lace and Island Indigo Ribbon. I didn't use a button or string but used a Rhinestone Brad instead. Instead of a paper doily, I used the new Sizzlit Paper Doily and die cut mine. Instead of punching the butterflies, I die cut them using the Beautiful Wings Embosslit. I sure like how this turned out. Everything used to make this card is from Stampin' Up! Thanks for stopping by!!
