Thursday Nighters July Projects

Project #1 will be this Free-Standing Pop-Up card. We'll be using up some of my Groovy Guava card stock making way for the new In-Colors. I made this sample kind of quickly, but we will embellish it a bit when we do the actual card. The closed card is shown at left.

This is one of those cards that is really fun to receive. As you open it, the slider automatically pops up, then the card can stand on its own. The flowers on this slider were stamped off so that they would be light enough to write over. We will add brads to the front panel and maybe some glitter on the butterfly.
  • Stamps: Time Well Spent
  • Papers: Groovy Guava, Naturals White
  • Ink: Groovy Guava
  • Accessories: Blender Pen (We will add brads and/or glitter.)
Project #2 is basically a copy of the Color Challenge card I did today except that it is an A2 size card and I had to eliminate the charm (I don't have any more!). The base card is Wild Wasabi that is partially embossed with the Bloom Dots folder. The Celery Prints strip is only one inch wide on this card, but it is still matted on Pomegranate, and the centers of the flowers are colored with Pomegranate just like the other card. I hope the ladies like this card as much as I do!
  • Stamps: Infinite Goodness, Short & Sweet

  • Ink: Purely Pomegranate, Wild Wasabi
