Other Things (IC116) (WT156)
The Inspiration Challenge had this lime green refrigerator as a focal point in a magazine layout. I like to look at the inspiration piece and then my card because I always find it interesting to see what sparked my imagination. I was inspired by the bright colors of the various items in the layout. In the lower left, there's three round boxes. The top one is bright yellow. I started there with my yellow base card. That basket of flowers is what inspired the floral background piece. The green afghan on the bench is what inspired the embossed panel. The patterns on the pillows are what inspired the flourish on my card. The tag on the refrigerator appears to be on a clothespin magnet, so I used a tiny clothespin from Christmas of 2006, to attach my tag with the handwritten "Thank You." The refrigerator has rounded corners which is what inspired the shape of my card. I think I covered just about everything that tickled my fancy!! LOL! Thanks for visiting my blog; please stop in again!

What a great idea. I never thought to round out my corners on a card. You are so creative! -Lea Lui
