You can hardly see the outlined flowers stamped on the inside (seen through the oval) because they are tone-on-tone. We will stamp with the darker Blue Bayou when we do this for Club. You can, however, see the "Thank You" stamped in Blue Bayou. Now you can see where the ovals came from that are on the front of the card! The main part of this is made with Soft Sky Prints DSP with a white inner oval frame. Three flowers were stamped on white with Soft Sky and Blue Bayou. They were cut out and adhered to the upper part of the oval frame. This is called a "Tunnel Card"
- Stamps: Spring Solitude (Level 2 Hostess)
- Papers: Soft Sky, WW, Soft Sky Prints DSP
- Ink: Soft Sky, Blue Bayou
- Accessories: Coluzzle, Snips, DS GG Ribbon
This card was posted last week in a post called "Friendship" (CC153). It was my card for last week's Color Challenge. I wanted to demo a Sale-A-Bration set, and I really liked this color combo, so this will be Project #2 for Club! There's more cutting on this card, but it's worth it!!! The center layers of the flowers are punched, so that makes it a bit easier. Besides, Susie liked this card, and it's still her party this Thursday! LOL! Because our first project requires some cutting and so does this one, I've made the non-card item really EASY!!!
Project #3 just requires some punches and some scrap card stock and DSP. We will use the Spring Bouquet Flower Punch, Boho Blossoms Flower Punch, Five Petal Flower Punch, and the Three for You Punch to "Punch a Pile of Posies"!!! LOL! We will punch out flowers until we fill that little baggie or when we get tired of doing it, whichever comes first! These flowers are nice to keep on hand for scrapbooking and card making. You can emboss them, layer them, or just use them as is! I did say this project would be EASY!!!! Thanks so much for visiting my blog!!!
