Project # 1 will be this masculine card which can be either a birthday or Father's Day card. The new "King of the Grill" set from the Summer Mini is used here. The main image was stamped with Black Stazon on Naturals Ivory and then water colored. It's matted on Night of Navy. The base card is Soft Suede with a horizontal strip of Crumb Crisp (formerly Kraft). The strip is punched with the Martha Stewart Checkers Border Punch which matches up well with the Mellow Moss Gingham Ribbon (retired).
Project #2 is this very feminine card which I CASEd from CAKath, a talented stamper on SCS. It's actually is a CASE of her Featured Stamper card which is a CASE of another stamper's card which is a CASE of yet another stamper's card!! This is basically a one-layer card with the exception of the pink strip on the inside behind the punched border. The new "Water Color Trio" set was used on this one. The first stamp was colored with Certainly Celery and Pretty In Pink Markers, huffed and stamped. The second stamp was inked with the Kiwi Kiss Ink Pad. The sentiment was also stamped using Kiwi Kiss. The base card is Confetti White and the ribbon is Pretty In Pink Satin Ribbon.
Project #3 is this graduation card which was already posted below. (See Graduation Card post)
Project #4 was done using Cameo Coral (retiring), Whisper White and Basic Black matting plus Shimmery White scraps for the tea bag. The blue-haired old lady was water colored. I love the sentiment: "A woman is like a tea bag. You never know how strong she is until she gets into hot water. -- Eleanor Roosevelt" I stamped the base card with the tea bag from a non-SU! set and then stamped and cut out a tea bag from Shimmery White. This is such a simple card, but I really like what it's got to say!
Project #5 uses some retiring colors. The base card is Pixie Pink. The Whisper White strip is punched with the Eyelet Border Punch and then a piece of Green Galore is added. The gift bags and cake were stamped with Black Stazon on Whisper White, colored with SU! Markers and cut out. They were popped up on 1-1/4" punched squares which were also popped up. The stamp set used here is "Itty Bitty Birthday". Thanks for stopping by!!
