Cone Flowers (SC296)

This week's sketch on SCS has the tilted square between the main image square and the rectangle. I used the Blended Pencils technique featured in this week's Weekly Inkling which I get by email every Wednesday from SplitCoastStampers.com. If you're interested in the tutorial, you can find it here. The stamp set is "Inspired by Nature", and the flower is the cone flower. Unlike the black eyed Susan, this flower comes in many colors besides the yellow and brown. I just found that out today! I used Basic Black, More Mustard and Whisper White card stocks along with both sides of a piece of Autumn Vine DSP (retired). The mustard layer is embossed with Cuttlebug Forest Branches. Everything except the embossing folder is from Stampin' Up! Thanks for stopping by!
