Tic-Tac-Toe Valentine (CCEE1005)

Charlene Merrick is the guest hostess over at CCEE Stampers for the month of February. Today, she has challenged us to use hearts and a charm in our designs. I needed a Valentine card for my club tonight, so this was the perfect opportunity to design a simple card that my ladies would enjoy making. The base card is Ruby Red with a layer of Sweet Slumber Specialty Paper (retired) that I punched at the bottom with my new Martha Stewart Heart Border Punch. The main image, from "A Happy Heart", was stamped with Ruby Red Ink on Very Vanilla and matted on Ruby Red. It was also popped up on Dimensionals. I added Very Vanilla Taffeta Ribbon with the heart charm attached with a jump ring. I used the new Heart Punch from Stampin' Up! to punch a heart and pop it up in the lower right corner of the main image. The little hearts that were punched out with the border punch came in handy to add a little detail to the inside of the card. Everything used to make this card, except the border punch and the charm, came from Stampin' Up! Thanks for stopping by!!
