Skipped TWO???
Yes, it looks like I skipped TWO whole days of posting to my blog! Well, I was so busy on Friday, cutting card stock and getting ready for my Stamp Camp, that I had no time to make extra cards. I will post a couple of the cards we made later on though. That should make up for it. Also, yesterday, I was so tired after the Stamp Camp that I placed my order with Stampin' Up! and crocheted until I had to go get ready to take one of my daughters out to dinner for her 21st birthday. I'm making a baby blanket. When it's finished, I'll try to remember to photograph it and show it on my blog. This card is for two challenges since I'm so far behind. First, it's for the Featured Stamper Challenge. Angela Crocket is the Featured Stamper this week. I chose to CASE this card. Her card was a triple challenge, one of which was the Featured Stamper Challenge when Beate was the Featured Stamper. Since it was Beate's layout, I changed that up a bit. I moved the main image to the center and eliminated the large brads and punched circles. I didn't use the border punch on the pink layer, but instead, I used paper lace strips on the top and the bottom. My stamps, designer paper, flowers and ribbon are different. I used the Martha Stewart Ribbon Border Punch for my ribbon treatment. I sure like it with the lace borders. This is also for the Twisted Sisters Challenge which was to use lace and distressing. I distressed the pink mat layer on the main image panel and used paper lace. Thanks for stopping by!!
