I have had several people ask me about the home made flower soft. First of all, Flower Soft comes in jars and in many colors including some multi-colored Flower Soft. I bought some in California and paid $5.99 a jar, plus tax. I think it's pretty pricey.
If you would like to make your own, you will need Styrofoam. I bought six Styrofoam balls for $3.57, plus tax at WalMart. All you do is rub two balls together as if you were grating something. Soon, you will have a pile built up. Put your pile of flakes into baggies. Use re-inkers and put a couple of drops in a baggie of the flakes. Work in the color with the baggie closed. I have some plain white, some yellow and some pink. I used the colored stuff in the centers of some of my embossed flowers. It gives a more natural feel to the flowers. That's it! It's cheap and easy!! Enjoy!!
