CAKE (LSC259)

This is for the Limited Supplies Challenge on SCS hosted by Wendybell. In honor of President's Day, we were to create a card that ultimately had something to do with one of our presidents. We were to use the "Seven Degrees of Kevin Bacon" game to do it. We didn't have to have all seven steps; two or three was fine. I have five steps:
  1. CAKES with candles symbolize BIRTHDAYS
  2. The BIRTHDAY of America is called INDEPENDENCE DAY
  3. INDEPENDENCE DAY is celebrated on JULY 4TH
  4. JULY 4TH, 1826, is the date of death of our 2ND PRESIDENT
  5. Our 2ND PRESIDENT was JOHN ADAMS

You can see how we go from the birthday cake on my card all the way to John Adams! I used a Sale-A-Bration set, "Happy Moments" for the cake and colored it with Stampin' Up! Markers. I embossed the Whisper White layer with the Small Dots Texturz Plate and added the new Pretty In Pink Satin Ribbon. The Certainly Celery layer is larger than normal for a mat to accommodate all my little embossed flowers with homemade Flower Soft in the centers. All products used to make this card are from Stampin' Up! Thanks for stopping by!!
