March Club Project #1
I tried to make Project #1 kind of simple because the other card we will be making is a bit more involved. It's already posted to my blog. It's called Easter Chick. For this project, I used a Barely Banana base card with a layer of Whisper White that has been embossed with the Backgrounds #1 Texturz Plate, Small Polka Dots. I used the Coluzzle to cut out an oval from a small piece of card stock. We will lay this oval over our rectangle and sponge with Barely Banana. Then we stamp with Certainly Celery. I used Almost Amethyst for the flowers and touched up the stems and leaves with Certainly Celery (Markers), but club members can choose any Soft Subtles color for the flowers. The main image is matted on Barely Banana and popped up with Dimensionals after adding the Whisper White Taffeta Ribbon. The inside is lined with white and the sentiment, "May the miracle of Easter bring you renewed faith, hope, and happiness" is stamped inside with Black Stazon. All products used to create this card are from Stampin' Up! Thanks for stopping by!
