Penguin In Plaid (WT188)

I just wasn't able to do yesterday's sketch challenge. It was a hard day. I'm up and at 'em today, though! Today's Ways To Use It Challenge was to use plaid. I've used pieces of a 10-year old piece of patterned paper before. It's a red/white plaid with penguins and holly. Using that paper gave me the excuse to make the punch art penguin, too! Here's the punches used to make the penguin:
  • Body: 1-3/8" Circle, Large Oval (white)
  • Wings: Word Window
  • Head: 1" Circle
  • Feet: Boho Blossoms
  • Beak: Boho Blossoms
  • Cheeks: 1/8" Circle

The eyes were just painted in with the white gel pen. I cut narrow strips from Bella Rose DSP and snipped the ends to look like fringe. Thanks for stopping by today!

  • Stamps: Two Cool Dudes (sentiment)
  • Papers: Riding Hood Red, Basic Black, GP White, Only Orange, Unknown plaid DP, Bella Rose DSP
  • Ink: Riding Hood Red, White Gel Pen
  • Accessories: Silver Elastic Cord (2008 Holiday Mini)
