Thanksgiving Button Flower (ssnotime59)
Sharon's (aka notimetostamp) Stamp Simply Challenge is called "Button Up For Winter". We were to make a fall themed card and incorporate a button in the design. My button is the flower center. The base card is Old Olive with a layer of plaid designer paper from DCWV. The paper is stitched on using the zig-zag stitch on my sewing machine. I used rectangle and scalloped rectangle Nestabilities to make the main image panel and mat. The Naturals Ivory piece is sewn on the More Mustard scalloped piece using the same zig-zag stitch as before. The scarecrow is stamped with Stazon Jet Black and water colored. I used the sewing machine to sew the orange button to the flower, and I added orange and mustard branches punched with the Martha Stewart Punch. The sentiment panels were both punched with the Word Window Punch. Thanks for visiting my blog today!!
