For this tea party, we were to bring anything to do with fishing. The card is going to
Colton, the little 10 year old boy in West Virginia that I made the camping card for. Pat told Cindy talked about him, and he wound up being our destination for this week's tea party. Well, we were supposed to do fishy cards, but then, Cindy found out that
Colton will be the Grand Marshall in their local strawberry festival parade, so we were to incorporate strawberries on our fishy cards if at all possible. That fish just looks confused seeing a strawberry used for bait!
LOL! I used Pacific Point for the base card and embossed the whole front with a CB folder (Tiny Bubbles). The "grass" is free hand cut from Old Olive and then scrunched up before adhering to the card. The fish came from a set from Mike's by Recollections called, "Feeling Fishy". The strawberry is from "Tart & Tangy". The fish was heat embossed with Iridescent Ice, and the strawberry was done with Clear
EP. Both were popped up with
Dimensionals. Everything is from
Stampin' Up! except the fish stamp and the
EF. Thanks for stopping by!
