Convention Card by Sandi MacIver

Sandi MacIver is one of the ladies in a Yahoo Group that I belong to, Late Night Stampers. She has lots of photos and information on her blog about the recent Stampin' Up! convention in Salt Lake City. She was one of the instructors at convention, and they made this wonderful scallop circle Thank You card. She was kind enough to include a pdf file on her blog so that those of use who could not go to convention this year could make it, too.
If you'd like to learn how to make this card, too, just go to her blog where she's posting from Salt Lake City and scroll down until you see her card. Beneath that, you will find a link to a pdf file with all the instructions. I used Very Vanilla card stock for everything. I embossed the sentiment from "Short & Sweet" with Gold Embossing powder to match the gold brads. I also used tiny gold half pearls in the flower centers. She used butterflies on her card, but I don't have that Embosslit (YET), so I used the Flower Trio Punch and made my embossed flowers instead. The Large Scallop Circle Die and the Scallop Circles #2 Die were used along with the Word Window Punch and the Modern Label Punch as well. The Impressions Folder used here is Petals-a-Plenty.

This is the inside of the card. The Elegant Bouquet Impressions Folder was used here as well as the "Thanks" Embosslit. Of course, the Flower Trio Punch was used for all the little embossed flowers. Very Vanilla Taffeta Ribbon was used on the outside for closure. Everything used is from Stampin' Up! Thanks for stopping by!
