Bloomin' (CC199, MTSC24)

The photo at left shows Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenge layout. It's a square card which I don't make very often, and I don't even know why. Mine is 5-3/8" square. I used this sketch with this week's Color Challenge on SplitCoastStampers. The Color Challenge was to use Bravo Burgandy, Handsome Hunter, and So Saffron.
The base card is So Saffron. At the top, there is a piece of So Saffron DSP from the Pallet of Prints (retired). At the bottom is a piece of Handsome Hunter that was embossed with the Cuttlebug Birds n' Swirls embossing folder. The strip that divides the top and bottom is Bravo Burgundy and it was crimped. The main image was stamped with Black Stazon and water colored using the Challenge Colors. I embossed the three little flowers at the right and added white gel pen dots in the centers. I also added a strip of the So Saffron DSP to the front of the envelope. (The card sits on the SU! Medium Square Envelope.) Thanks for visiting my blog!
