Wedding Invitation for Vicki's Niece

Vicki's niece is getting married on May 17th (my birthday), and Vicki asked me to help her make the wedding invitations. The bride's colors are red and silver, and we managed to get both of those in there! The invitation doesn't open like a card. We printed four to a sheet of white card stock and, while we were in the program, we decided to print a clipart rose instead of stamping because we needed to save some time. After we cut them into the four pieces, we used scallop scissors on all four sides, then we paper pierced in each scallop. We punched at the top with a pig nose punch and tied the silver ribbon through the slots. Next, we mounted them on red card stock. Finally, we lined the envelopes with transluscent vellum that has a silver sheen to it. We still have to make R.S.V.P. post cards and address all the envelopes. These were really fun to make. I'm sure the bride will love them! She's in the military and should be coming home soon. I will address all the envelopes while Vicki cuts up my "make-and-takes" for my upcoming Stamp Camp! That's a pretty good trade, I think!!!
