Western/Boho Stamp Camp

Of the five designs I've created for the Stamp Camp this week, this one is my son's favorite. Go figure; it's my least favorite! LOL! I guess he likes the "dirty" look of this and the faux wood. Who knows!

The base card is Ruby Red with the paisleys stamped along the side with Chocolate Chip ink. It's also sponged with the same ink. The faux wood is Creamy Caramel with the wood grain drawn with the fine tip of the Chocolate Chip Marker and sponged. The "Wanted" is stamped on Naturals White with Basic Black, torn, distressed, and then sponged. There's one "nail" (silver brad) holding what's left of the poster to the board. The star is stamped with Basic Black and punched out with the Small Star Punch.

  • Stamps: Wanted
  • Papers: Ruby Red, Creamy Caramel, Naturals White
  • Ink: Chocolate Chip, Basic Black, Chocolate Chip Marker
  • Accessories: Sponge, Silver Brad, Small Star Punch

For card #2, I finally used my Bronco Wheel! The base card is Close To Cocoa with a strip of Berry Bliss DSP that has been scalloped with Jumbo Scallop Scissors. The strip I used the wheel on is Naturals Ivory, and the ink cartridge is Chocolate Chip. The scallop circle was stamped with Chocolate Chip and then punched out. I used the 1/6" Punch to make the hole where the Hemp Twine could be threaded. Of course, the twine was looped around the stamped strip before adhering it to the card.

  • Stamps: Bronco Standard Wheel, True Friend
  • Papers: Close To Cocoa, Naturals Ivory, Berry Bliss DSP
  • Ink: Chocolate Chip
  • Accessories: Scallop Circle Punch, 1/6" Circle Punch, Natural Hemp Twine
Card #3 is really a very simple card. The base card is Naturals Ivory stamped with Chocolate Chip using the Boho design. The horses were stamped on Very Vanilla three times without reinking, and the panel was sponged and matted on Chocolate Chip.

  • Stamps: Wanted
  • Papers: Naturals White, Chocolate Chip, Very Vanilla
  • Ink: Chocolate Chip
  • Accessories: Sponge

Card #4 is one of my favorites. The base card is Blue Bayou with a piece of Western Sky DSP. The images were stamped with Close To Cocoa on Naturals Ivory, sponged, and matted on River Rock. All panels were Ticket Corner Punched. I punched out a circle from a Post-It with the 1-1/4" Circle Punch and sponged around it before stamping the Bronc Buster image to make it look like a sun in the background. The "rope" is made with Natural Hemp Twine and adhered with a strong adhesive glue.

  • Stamps: Bronc Buster
  • Papers: Blue Bayou, River Rock, Naturals Ivory, Western Sky DSP
  • Ink: Close To Cocoa
  • Accessories: Ticket Corner Punch, Sponge, Natural Hemp Twine

Card #5 is my favorite. I guess I'm really a girly girl! I just love ribbon! LOL! The base card is Pretty In Pink with a piece of Berry Bliss DSP and Purely Pomegranate Wide Satin Ribbon. The Boho Flower from the "One Of A Kind" set is three layers. The first layer is stamped with Black Stazon on Very Vanilla and is matted on Purely Pomegranate. The second layer is also stamped with Stazon on Very Vanilla, but it is colored with SU! Markers and then cut out. The third layer is the small Boho Flower from the same set stamped on Very Vanilla with Pink Passion and then punched out with a 1/2" Circle Punch. All three layers are popped up with Dimensionals.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
