My Friend (TLC163) (ssnotime30)

Today's Technique Lovers Challenge was to stack ribbons. I stacked 1/4" Always Artichoke grosgrain ribbon over 5/8" Certainly Celery grosgrain ribbon. The difficult thing was to get them both through the slider! I have no idea where I got that slider; I've had it in my stash for a long time. I used "Blossoms Abound" stamp set which is a two-step stamping set. I think I might use it for my 3rd Thursday Club on April 17th. We could make it into a Mother's Day card. For this card, I used Perfect Plum over Pale Plum for the lilacs and Certainly Celery over Always Artichoke for the leaves. I added some Fine Cosmo Glitter to give it some sparkle. I didn't trim the sentiment enough when I mounted it, so I doodled under it to hide my goof-up.

After I posted this, Sharon (notimetostamp) posted her weekly challenge. It was to use glitter on a project. I've added her challenge number here and on SCS. If I have time, I will make another card using glitter especially for her challenge! Thanks for stopping by today!
