Flowery Thanks (TLC166)

I couldn't wait to find out what today's Technique Lover's Challenge was; it's an easy one this time --perfect for me! It's called a Two-Way Open Card. My card is 5-3/8" X 5-3/8" and fits into the Medium Square envelopes from SU! (5-1/2" X 5-1/2" envelope). The base card is Pretty in Pink Textured CS. The next layer is Berry Bliss DSP. I didn't cut the triangle off; I just folded it to the inside and glued it down. The layer that opens upward is Whisper White card stock on which I used the Stylized Flowers Cuttlebug embossing folder. I made a belly band that measures 1" X 12" from the same Berry Bliss DSP. The flowers were punched with the Five Petal punch and then the white centers were punched with the Spring Bouquet Flower Punch (retired). The beads in the centers are the Pink Glass Mix from the Pink Duo. The ribbons are Whisper White Taffeta. Here's all the dimensions:

5-3/8" X 5-3/8" base card stock
4-7/8" X 9-3/4" designer paper (folding the extra triangle to the inside)
4-1/4" X 4-1/4" card stock for inside top folded piece
1" X 12" designer paper for belly band
Here's what the card looks like when it's open. The belly band is slid off, the DSP trangle opens to the left, and the Cuttlebugged panel opens up.
  • Stamps: All Holidays
  • Papers: Pretty In Pink Textured CS, Whisper White, Berry Bliss DSP
  • Ink: Purely Pomegranate
  • Accessories: Cuttlebug Stylized Flowers EF, Five Petal Punch, Spring Bouquet Flower Punch (retired), Pink Glass Mix bead from the Pink Duo Pack, WW Taffeta Ribbon
