I combined three challenges for this one. First, I used
Kristina's Color Inspiration Challenge #39(Basic Black, Real Red, So Saffron, Green Galore (or other green), and White). This worked out quite well because the Limited Supplies Challenge was to use a black base card and the Ways To Use It Challenge was to create our own fancy patterned paper or card stock. I managed to get all those colors in there by using the balloons. Since this is a birthday card, it worked! I stamped the base card with Versamark and embossed with Silver Embossing Powder. I used the Sizzix "Round About" alpha set to cut the "40" out of thin cardboard. Then, I covered the numbers with black chunky glitter. My friend's hubby turns 40 in march and she's having a party for him. I hope he likes this card! Thanks for stopping by!
