Been sick...

Well, my friends, I've be so sick that I haven't made ANY cards since Thursday. I was in the E.R. all day on Friday. They did an E.K.G. and C.T. Scan. I have Diverticulitis. Wow, is it ever painful. It seems that almost everyone gets it in some form by the time they are around 60. I really have to tell you: EAT YOUR FIBER!!! I try to have a high fiber diet, but I just can't seem to resist those French Fries from Micky D's!! I will go easy on those now! I have to lay off of seeds and nuts for a while, I guess. I'm on antibiotics, and I have pain medicine, so I just have to take it easy right now. I've been watching "Happily Ever After" movies on the Hallmark Channel. I've been crocheting too. I have two daughters who are pregnant at the same time. When I get this one done, maybe I'll take a photo of it and post it here so you can see it. I already gave the younger daughter hers. She's due in June, so I made hers first. Well, I'm going back to my recliner and crochet. Thanks for stopping by and for understanding my lack of posts, especially those of you who are followers!! Bless your hearts!!

I hope you feel better soon - I am not sure what Diverticulitis is, so I'm headed over to WebMD to educate myself. Enjoy the crocheting and I look forward to seeing you back when you are feeling up to it.

I am sorry you ended up so sick before realizing you had Diverticulitis. I hope the infection clears quickly and you get relief.
