Punch Art Acorn

Here I am, just fooling around again! I subscribe to Kim Score's blog and she puts links on her blog each day to cool punch art. She even had one of mine on there! Anyway, she had a link a few days ago to Frenchie Stamps blog. That's where I got the instructions (video tutorial) to make this cute acorn. He's really easy to make just by using the ornament punch and the small and large oval punches. All the leaves are from "French Foliage"; the bigger ones look like oak, so I stamped them, cut them out and sponged them. I also crinkled them up some. I just thought this little acorn was so cute that I just had to try it!! Everything is from Stampin' Up! Thanks again for stopping by!!

Punch Art Ostrich

As some of you know, I love Punch Art, and I found a blog where there are some free tutorials and some that you can buy. Kim Score is a punch art expert, and I bought a couple of her tutorials. One of them is her Zoo Collection. That's where I got the directions to make this ostrich. My daughter liked the ostrich best of the five animals in the Zoo Collection, so I made this birthday card for her. The base card is Old Olive and I used retired Stampin' Up! DSP for the background. I also had some retired Old Olive 1/4" Twill Ribbon, but you can hardly see it behind the ostrich. The ostrich is made up of Basic Black, Whisper White, Blush Blossom (retired) and Pumpkin Pie card stock. Everything used to make this card is from Stampin' Up! Thanks again for stopping by!!

Punch Art Crocodile

Slowly but surely I'm doing each one of the punch art critters from Kim Score's Zoo Collection. I just don't know how she comes up with all these cute designs. I'm glad I bought two of her tutorials! This will be another birthday card for one of my grandchildren. If you'd like to purchase one of her tutorials or download one of her free tutorials, go to Kim's Blog. Everything used to make this card and punch art came from Stampin' Up! Thanks again for stopping by!!

Punch Art Bear

Wonder what I've been doing this afternoon? Well, I have a cold, so I'm staying secluded in my Craft Room so that I don't infect the rest of the world! LOL! This is another of Kim Score's designs that is included in her Zoo Collection tutorial which I bought. I linked to her blog in the post about the Punch Art Hippo if you are interested in buying her tutorials. I even used her layout for the card! I just didn't use the same colors or DSP. This card will be for my grand daughter's birthday. I think she'll like it! Thanks again for stopping by!!

Correction: This is NOT in Kim's Zoo Collection!! It's in her Holiday Collection!! I must have gotten the print-outs out of order or something. So SORRY!! If you want to make this cute bear, purchase her Holiday Collection!!!

Punch Art Hippo

During the summer months, I have a lot of birthdays to make cards for. I have 11 grandchildren with one more on the way, and 3 have birthdays in June, 3 in July, 1 in August, and 2 in September. The other two are in February and April, and the one on the way is due in October (but could make a third for September). Anyway, I went to Kim Score's blog and purchased her Zoo Collection which is a set of tutorials for making punch art animals. This hippo is one of them. The collection is only $5.50 and payable through Pay-Pal. I made this birthday card for one of my September birthdays. The sentiment is from "Pun Fun" and says, "Hip Hippo Ray!" Inside, there's a punch art balloon and there will be an envelope with money in it, too! Everything used to make this card is from Stampin' Up! Thanks again for stopping by!!
