I'm trying to get it together to make a card for one of the challenges. I missed yesterday's Sketch Challenge because of working on my stamp camp. Maybe I'll be able to combine a couple of challenges. I just have to get the inspiration. I've been kind of down. I had to go to court today to end my 21 year marriage, so I'm a divorced woman now. It doesn't really feel very good. I'll try to get something done and posted. If not, there's always tomorrow, I guess.

I have been where you are, and I can only tell you to be good to yourself and know that you will feel better soon. God bless you.
I've been where you are too, not a divorce actually but splitting from my common law spouse and raising my children alone from a young age. Things will get much better and remember how many talents you have! Do fun things that you like to do and remind yourself that you are vital and important. Deny the negative thoughts as soon as they come into your mind. They have no place in your new life. Think about what you're gaining .. freedom and independence, and that's a great thing!
A lot of us have been where you are and I can tell you after you walk through the fire (sometimes it takes a long time), you'll find a new peace. My 27 yr marriage ended and I thought my world had too. Little did I know the plan God had for me. I've had the most wonderful husband for 24 years now and truly know what it means to have a soul mate. Blessed is what I am. Stay busy and if you have children, focus on them. If not find another focus for your life. Take care of yourself, but offer your service to others too. That's what makes us truly happy.
Oh So sorry to hear this Carrollann, I have not been well and am just about getting myself better and catching up on the thousand + e-mails, I have been there and yes the world seems sad, but have faith in yourself, and live one day at a time, and things will fall in place, always think God has made it happen as there are better things for you from him!! Will keep you in prayer! Hope you had a great Christmas with your kids, and wish you all the best for the New Year too! Hugs always! G
