Baby Girl card (SC429, TSC0329)

I made this card on Wednesday and forgot to post it! It's for the Sketch Challenge on SCS and also the Twisted Sistahs Challenge. heartsong47 presented the TSC this week. Jan asked us to make a baby card, boy or girl, or just a card for a child. I made this baby girl card even though I don't have any showers to attend. I used White, Pretty In Pink and Pink Gingham DSP. I used the "Baby Prints" set for the little feet. I used Ovals and Beaded Ovals dies and added pearls, ribbon and a diaper pin. Fun card to make! Thanks for stopping by!!

Enjoy the Moment (CAS213)

The Clean and Simple Challenge is to use only line stamps; no solid stamps. This Emersen Girl Stamp from Hobby Lobby is a favorite of mine. A dear friend of mine was going to buy it, but she knew I wanted it and gave it to me instead. That's the only time I've ever been to a Hobby Lobby. The funny thing is, it wasn't until we were in the store that I found out that we had left Illinois and were in Kentucky!! LOL! I just stamped her with Black and colored with markers. The sentiment is part of the stamp. Thanks for stopping by!

Boy Shirt Inspired (IC381)

Not only is this not a man's shirt, but it's not orange! I don't know what my camera is doing lately, but the card stock here is Real Red, not orange. Anyway, I decided to participate in the Inspiration Challenge while my little one takes a nap. I was inspired by the Silk Boyshirt in Gingham at Madewell.com. I used pearls for buttons and put the origami shirt on a doily to make it more feminine. The sentiment is actually an incentive stamp from Stampin' Up! which might be retired. Thanks for stopping by!!

Pinwheels (F4A161)

The Free 4 All Challenge (Fridays on SCS) is called "Geometrically Speaking." We were challenged to get out those square and circle punches. I used a 1-1/4" square punch to make the pinwheels and then popped them up on squares. The sentiment is from Petite Pairs. The blue and green is both sides of some retired DSP. Everything is from Stampin' Up! Thanks for stopping by!

Those Girls! (TSC0322, WT419)

This is for two challenges: First, the Twisted Sistahs Challenge is to use piercing, piecing and pearls. I used a Stampin' Up! Piercing Template along with coordinating Framelits. I paper pieced the ladies dresses, and I used small pearls for the necklace and earrings on the lady on the left. The second challenge is the Ways To Use It Challenge where we were to use images of girls on our cards. The stamp I used is an "Emersen Girls" stamp that I bought during my one and only trip to Hobby Lobby last June when I visited with some of the Twisted Sistahs. I popped up everything with Foam Tape. The DSP is from SU! and is retired. Thanks for stopping by!

Hello (FS319)

I haven't done a Featured Stamper Challenge in a very long time. I loved browsing through Nancy's gallery. I decided to CASE this card. I really didn't want to change anything, but I did change the colors, one of the embossing folders, the ribbon, and my butterflies were punched from scraps of SU! DSP instead of stamping before punching. Also, I only used one pearl on each butterfly, and I used a different stamp from the same "Pretty Petites" stamp set. Everything used here is from Stampin' Up! Thanks for stopping by!!

In My Heart (TSC0315)

The Twisted Sistahs Challenge for this week was presented by Brat Cards. Terri asked us to make a card using at least three different textures (i.e., dry embossing, heat embossing, lace, pearls, rhinestones, etc.). I used dry embossing, lace, ribbon, rhinestones and die cuts. The sentiment is from "Word Play", and the hearts are stamped with "Hearts a Flutter" and die cut with the coordinating SU! Framelits. I was looking all over for my pretty lace but couldn't find it since I don't have a craft room anymore, and everything is either in my room or in my closet. This lace was found in a box of wide ribbons, mostly for Christmas. The colors are White, Barely Banana and Pool Party. Thanks for stopping by!!

Sending Sympathy (TSC0308)

The Twisted Sistahs Challenge for this week was presented by JD from PAUSA. Jill asked us to make a sympathy card (or just an uplifting card). I used "Love and Sympathy" which is one of my two sets for making sympathy cards. I hate making them because I know I will have to send them at some point. Death is part of life, but I'd rather make any other type of card. My colors are Very Vanilla, Pear Pizzazz and Wisteria Wonder. I used a Labels Framelits for the sentiment panel and added three rhinestones. Everything is from Stampin' Up! Thanks for stopping by!

Easter Blessings (SC426)

I needed another Easter card for my friends to make this afternoon, so I made this one based on this week's sketch on SCS. The set is "Easter Blossoms", but the sentiment came from "Abundant Hope". I embossed the little girl with black EP and punched the image out with the 2-1/2" Circle Punch. I stamped the blossoms on the white panel with Black Stazon and used a Pretty In Pink Marker on the blossoms. The white panel is framed with Basic Black and the base card is Pink Pirouette with the horizontal panel out of Blushing Bride DSP. The ribbon is also Blushing Bride. Everything is from Stampin' Up! Thanks for stopping by!

Easter card (TSC0301)

The Twisted Sistahs Challenge for this week is to make a Spring themed card and use buttons. I used the "Secret Garden" set and the Secret Garden Framelets. The flowers were stamped with Wisteria Wonder, and the leaves with Lucky Limeade. I used Whisper White, Wisteria Wonder and Daffodil Delight card stocks for the card base and layers. The two buttons in two of the flower centers are Daffodil Delight. They were SAB buttons from a year or two ago. The sentiment is from "Everybunny". The flowers were popped up with Dimensionals. Everything is from Stampin' Up! Thanks for stopping by!
